John Jordan

Senior Project Manager

John Jordan graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Business Communications Degree and began his career in the U.S. Marines. He served as a Strike Fighter Weapons and Sensors Officer, flying F/A-18D aircraft out of Miramar and El Toro, California, and on multiple overseas tours. In 1998, John was selected for TopGun, and became a Weapons and Tactics Instructor. In 2001, John completed his Masters Degree while attending the Marine Corps Command and Staff College in Quantico, Virginia. Following this school, John was assigned to the Pentagon, where he served on the F-35 project management team.

In 2004, John and his family left the Marine Corps and served on the mission field in North Africa. As Director of Overseas Operations, John and his team prepared Christian workers to serve in closed countries, assisting the Underground Church.

In 2007, John moved to Sudan and served as Program Manager for the U.S. Department of State’s Security Sector Transformation program, running the Command and General Staff Course for the Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA). From 2009 to 2011, John served the U.S. Air Force as Program Manager for the Air Advisor Academy, which prepared Air Force personnel of all ranks to serve in Iraq and Afghanistan as military advisors to the new Iraqi and Afghan Air Forces.

Continuing to develop his business acumen, John and several colleagues started a successful security services business, which trained hundreds of security contractors to serve as Protective Security Agents on the U.S. Department of State’s Worldwide Protective Service program.  During this period, John earned certification as a Project Management Professional through PMI. John was the Vice President for operations at this company until moving to the Dallas Ft. Worth area in April of 2017.

John joined The Nehemiah Company in 2017 and was put in charge of new project development. His Project Management skills, leadership, and experience with business processes have added a new dimension to TNC’s core capabilities.
