Phong Smith, founding partner of Whitford Partners, specializes in rigorous financial analysis and project management of real estate investments. Prior to forming Whitford Partners, Mr. Smith held various positions over a ten-year period at CrossHarbor Capital Partners, a Boston based private equity real estate investment firm specializing in opportunistic investments across the country. Mr. Smith oversaw a portfolio of investments at CrossHarbor as well as managed the internal valuation and financial modeling of all investments for the firm. Mr. Smith received a bachelor’s degree in finance and a minor in chemistry from Quinnipiac University as well as a master’s degree in investment management from Boston University.
